Telangana: NPR Exercise To Be Put On Hold | تلنگانہ میں این پی آر کے عمل کو موقوف کیا جائے گا |

The State government would put on hold the National Population Register (NPR) work for the time being. It would move a resolution in the Legislative Assembly urging the Centre to implement the old format of NPR, instead of the revised one proposed for 2020 Census. Sources close to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao told Express on Wednesday that the TRS government was against the new format of the NPR.
