About the speaker
Calum McConnell is Managing Director of ITM Power GmbH.
He gained a degree in Integrated engineering from Nottingham Trent University in the UK and thereafter spent 20-years in Germany and Holland with the US industrial company, Parker Hannifin in many roles. His last role before joining ITM in late 2016, was Global Business Development Manager for the Renewable Energy market segments of wind, hydro, ocean-wave and tidal power, as well as the Battery Energy storage market.
Since joining ITM he has proceeded to grow the ITM base in Germany by establishing a satellite location for customer service and aftermarket support.
He is board member of Hessen´s Energy Agency´s H2BZ hydrogen and fuel cell initiative and active with the Power to Gas working groups of the BVES, DVGW, DWV as well as a member of the Expert Commission Performing Energy.
