Reserve Bank governor sees coronavirus and bushfires as short-term economic speedbumps | ABC News The bushfire crisis has taken its toll on the economy, but the Reserve Bank of Australia isn't expecting the damage to last too long.

Reserve Bank governor Philip Lowe says the rebuilding effort will boost economic activity and he's hoping interest rates won't have to come down again.
