With a starting price from $105,150 for the Porsche Taycan 4S(and the Porsche Taycan Turbo and Porsche Taycan Turbo S starting from $152,250 and $186,350 respectively), Porsche's first all-electric car isn't exactly affordable for most.

But as we discovered on the official West Coast press drive event for the Porsche Taycan last November at the wheel of the 2020 Porsche Taycan Turbo, the Taycan isn't just another high-priced luxury electric car.

And it's not a "Tesla Killer" either. To say as much would be an insult to both Tesla and Porsche.

No, it's something far, far more. A truly exciting, engaging driver's car that embodies Porsche's ethos and just happens to be electric.
