House impeachment manager quotes Notorious BIG on the Senate floor

House impeachment manager Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) referenced lyrics from the late rapper Biggie Smalls when closing out his argument for why the Senate must subpoena acting White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney.

Jeffries - who represents New York's 8th congressional district, which includes Brooklyn, where The Notorious BIG was born and raised - was responding to Jay Sekulow, one of President Trump's lawyers.

Jeffries concluded with: "That is why we are here, Mr. Sekulow. And if you don't know, now you know" - a lyric from "Juicy," Biggie's first single, which was released in 1984.
