Decades before the tiny house, there was Futuro | RetroFocus Futuro (House of the Future) was a prefabricated fibreglass home designed in Finland that could be constructed in almost any location within a few days.



As Futuro was promising to be a hit in Europe and America, its importer John O’Reagan was confident it would catch on in Australia.

As it turns out, this flying saucer never quite took off. It’s thought only 60 of the homes were ever produced.
