Chinese president Xi Jinping visits Wuhan...but keeps a safe distance China's President Xi Jinping visited Wuhan, the epicentre of coronavirus, for the first time since the outbreak.

He visited the new Huoshenshan Hospital that was built to treat coronavirus patients and spoke to patients via video call.

In China more than 80,000 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus and over 3,000 have died since the outbreak started two months ago.
