‘Pro-Pak’ slogan row: BJP smells ‘larger conspiracy’; girl’s house vandalised House of woman who raised pro-Pakistan slogans at Bengaluru rally was vandalized by miscreants on Thursday night. The woman’s father filed a complaint and police personnel was deployed. This comes after the woman raised pro-Pakistan slogans at an anti-CAA rally in Bengaluru on Thursday. All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi was present at the event. Owaisi condemned the woman’s statement and distanced the party from the woman. Karnataka Home Minister Basavaraj Bommai said this was part of a ‘larger conspiracy’. Bommai said background check on the girl is being done. The woman was taken into 14-day police custody and charged under sedition after the event.
