Lawyers have raised concerns about emergency legislation the Government will introduce "to ensure an end to terrorist offenders getting released automatically having served half of their sentence with no check or review".
The Government is being urged to "take care" in considering sentencing changes that may apply retrospectively, with further concerns over "clogging up an already overloaded system".
