GANG INVOLVED IN CHEATING IN THE NAME OF ALLOTTING DOUBLE BED ROOM HOUSES BURSTED BY CYB POLICE GANG INVOLVED IN CHEATING IN THE NAME OF ALLOTTING DOUBLE BED ROOM HOUSES BURSTED BY CYBERABAD POLICE


The double bedroom housing programme is a prestigious welfare programme taken up by the Telangana State Government.The Telangana Government has been constructing double bedroom houses in various places of state including in Bahadurpally of Dundigal Police Station Area. The gang taking advantage of this has been cheating public in the name of allotting double bed room houses.

On 28-12-2019 received a complaint from one Busaraju Lalitha, R/o: Suraram Colony was cheated by the fraudsters in the name of allotting 2 BHK house for an amount of Rs 1,60,000/- A case was booked vide crime number 810/2019 of Dundigal PS.

The investigation was taken up by local Dundigal Inspector and staff assisted by SOT Inspector Sudheer and his team under the supervision of DCP Balanagar Smt. Padmaja, ADCP SOT Sandeep and ACP Petbasheerabad Narsimha Rao


On 08.02.2020, the following accused Persons were apprehended by the Cyberabad Police, Dundigal PS and being sent to judicial custody in this cheating case.

Jyothi Milk Centre, NTR Nagar, Suraram colony, Quthbullapur Mandal, Medchal dist.

N/o Gollagudem village, Nallacherla Mandal, WG Dist. AP State.

(A-3) Palakollu Srinivas Rao, s/o Suryanarayana Rao, aged 45 yrs. occ: Welder, r/o

H.No.469, NTR Nagar, 60 yards, Suraram colony, Quthbullapur Mandal, Medchal

(A-5) Nagalla Krishna Rao s/o Papaiah, aged 37 yrs. Occ: Pvt. Employee, r/o. Muthyala

(A-6) K.Srinivas s/o Peddi Raju, aged 53 yrs. occ: Pvt. Employee, r/o Tirumala nagar,

Nizampet, Bachupally, Medchal dist., N/o Muggolu village, Ganapvaram Mandal, WG

Dist. AP State.


Police investigation revealed that Venkata Sathya Krishna Vara Prasad (A-1) meanwhile consuming liquor in a local wines shop observed the discussion of two strangers regarding the fake allotment letter of double bed room homes. He requested them to take a photocopy of fake double bedroom allotment letter. With the help of one unknown person namely Venkat who is staying in Bowrampet learnt the art of making fake double bed room allotment letter. He then met his relative Aduri Murali Krishna Murthy (A-2) and convinced that he had very good contacts in secretariat and it is cake walk for him to bring the allotment letters of double bed room. Believing this Aduri Murali Krishna Murthy (A-2) had submitted 169 applications for the sanction of double bed room homes for this he had given an amount of Rs. 1,00,30,000/- (One crore Thirty thousand rupees). In this way he cheated many others too. With the cheated money he spent a lavish life style and constructed one house for himself.


In the same way Venkata Sathya Krishna Vara Prasad (A-1), Smt. Aela Laxmi (A-4), Palakollu Srinivas Rao (A-3), Aduri Murali Krishna Murthy (A-2), Nagalla Krishna Rao (A-5), K.Srinivas (A-6) these six members cheated 170 people and collected Rs. 2,25,95,000/-.

Police had recovered Rs. 1,11,84,000/-, Six mobile phones, 1 HP laptop, printer, gold ornaments (115.16 Grams), one gold necklace, one maruti 800 car (Br.No. AP 28 AD 5256), Honda City Car (Br.No. AP 26 N 0001) and fake double bed room allotment letters all worth Rs. 1,21,34,000/-.


Under the supervision of DCP Balanagar P.V.Padmaja & ACP Petbasheerabad A.V.R. Narsimha Rao, the case was investigated by A.Venkatesham Inspector, G. Shekar Reddy SIP, C. Venkat Reddy SIP, Chandraiah ASI and Dundigal PS staff Sattar, Mohd Rafi, Sammaiah, Bheem Babu, Raheem, Janaiah, Keshavulu, and SOT Inspector Sudheer and his staff. Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad appreciated the good work of above officers with suitable rewards.
