Do stop smoke oil additives work ?

So am I 2002 Honda Civic 4 cylinder sedan was smoking blue smoke out of the exhaust and I found this at AutoZone after watching some YouTube videos about it thought I'd give it a try and after pouring it in the engine crankcase and running the car for about 5-10 minutes the smoking stopped I drove around the neighborhood no smoke and the car is running a little bit quieter I love this product I recommended thanks rislone
