CONTRACTOR COMPANY CONSTRUCTING WESTERN BYPASS TO FACE CONSEQUENCES IF THEY MISS GIVEN TIMELINE: HC

The High Court has clarified that the contractor company constructing Western Bypass has to face consequences if they miss the timeline. The contractor company has given phase-wise timeline of 17th February, 31st March and 31st May, to complete the Western Bypass. The High Court has authorized Goa government to encash the security deposit of Rs 2 Cr if contractor company misses any committed deadline. The High Court has also ordered the Contractor Company to deposit security amount of Rs 2Cr afresh within 7 days, in case of encashment.
