The restaurant is situated on the outskirts of Madurai, near to the airport. we were welcomed by a warm gesture. The ambiance is great. Well, its Madurai so food without mutton biryani is a sin, so we ordered mutton biryani, a non-veg meal place, mutton nalli roast, vanjaram fish fry and for the desserts, we had elaneer souffle.
The mutton biryani was good, the flavors and masala excellent, the only downside to it was the mutton pieces in the biryani had that goat smell on them
The non-veg meal plate came with gravies of mutton, chicken, and fish which tasted ok. The highlight was the KARUVAADU THOKKU which tasted so good and it went excellent along with rice. I asked them to bring some more of it which they happily did.
The Nalli roast was superb, very soft meat, the masala in the roast was enough to mix with rice and eat, an excellent dish.
The vanjaram fish fry was good too.
The elaneer souffle for desserts was the first time I'm having this, It was good but if there were coconut pieces all over the souffle it would have tasted better because I found the coconut pieces just on the top.
Their hospitality is definitely something I should comment on. There was a waiter standing nearby to take orders and bring what we wanted.
A must visit place with family or if your flying in or out of Madurai airport !!
