2020 may very well be a record year for the housing market! For one, we're seeing interest rates continuing to fall… currently seeing some of the
best rates that we've seen in the last few years
It's a great time to grab a 15-year at 3%!
We're seeing government loans below 3%!
The Commerce Department has stated that the total sales for 2019 was the best year that we've seen since 2006 housing market
I have to agree!
I saw the same in our market in December in Baton Rouge. Our December 2019 was up
15% over December 2018!
& was by far the best December
that we've seen since 2006!
Q4 2019 was up 10% over Q4 2018
It appears that the theme for 2020 is MOMENTUM
As we turn the corner to 2020, we have more pending home sales, less inventory of homes for sale, we just had the best December since 2006, interest rates are continuing to fall, and buyer confidence is high.
It looks like we may be in for a treat in 2020!
