World first as surgeons attempt to fit a tiger with an artificial paw | ITV News After getting caught in a poacher's trap, a hasty amputation saved the life of Sahebrao the tiger.

Unfortunately his paw would never be the same again. For years the Bengal tiger limped around all 150kg of muscle, stripes and teeth.

But a team assembled by an Indian orthopaedic surgeon, including a trauma specialist from the University of Leeds in the UK, devised a plan to help Sahebrao.
