So firstly, what is PGDM?
P G D M: Stands for Post Graduate Diploma in Management.
A student pursuing a PGDM course will be gaining knowledge regarding building soft skills and the programme is more industry-oriented as compared to MBA. The curriculum for PGDM is set according to current industry standards and it keeps changing based on the business environment. The course will prepare you for a senior level position in a company.

Specializations: PGDM includes Marketing, Finance, Human Resource, IT & Systems and many more.

Is it part time/full time course?
This is a full time course consisting of 4 semesters which students can complete over the course of 2 years.

What is the Eligibility criteria?
To be eligible for admission to the PGDM Program, the participants must possess a Bachelor's degree such as (Bcom, BBM, BE) or any equivalent, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks for General and 45% for Reserved category

What entrance exams can I opt for in order to pursue PGDM?
Most colleges accept Entrance exam scores from CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, GMAT, ATMA etc. are used to admit students into PGDM colleges. You can choose to write any of these exams based on the colleges you’re looking for.

Is whether PGDM a Valid degree course?
Yes, it is valid and equivalent to a post graduate degree. It is equivalent to an MBA from any Indian university, for PhD, teaching and all other purposes.

Am I eligible for PhD after PGDM?
PGDM with a minimum of 55% marks are eligible to enrol for PhD. From Indian Universities.

What are the placements like for PGDM?
This of course depends on the institution. However, most of the PGDM institutions have better placement records than MBA institutions.
