Tuesday's skies are clear but toxic fine dust to be 'bad' in Seoul, central western regions
Today is 'Daehan' which marks one of the coldest days on the traditional calendar. But it's unseasonably mild and fine dust advisories were issued in many areas today. Although the dust has cleared in many areas, don't put your masks away just yet, as more smog from China is set to flow in tonight. And tomorrow, the levels are going to be 'bad' in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do Province. But they'll be 'normal' across the rest of the country.
Taking a closer look at our readings for tomorrow morning, Seoul will wake up to minus 6 degrees Celsius, Chuncheon minus 8 and Jeju 4 degrees.
And the mercury will reach double figures in some areas. The highs will reach 5 degrees in Seoul, 7 in Daejeon and Daegu, and 10 in Jeju.
And with those warm highs tomorrow, it's going to be relatively mild, with partly cloudy skies across the country.
Over the Lunar New Year holiday, temperatures will hover above the seasonal norms. So, we can enjoy the mild conditions. And a little bit of rain is expected in the Chungcheong Provinces and southern areas from Wednesday, spreading to the rest of the nation on Thursday.
I'll leave you with the weather conditions around the world.
