South Korea to use artificial intelligence cameras to detect potential crime

South Korea to use artificial intelligence cameras to detect potential crime South Korea is exploring the use of technology that could help nab criminals before crimes are committed. The artificial intelligence surveillance cameras can detect warning signs, such as persistent tailing by a potential suspect, and whether they are carrying objects that can be used as weapons. The cameras also analyse crime statistics to measure the level of danger in a given situation, taking into account the location, time and behaviour patterns of the potential suspect. About 3,000 cameras will reportedly be installed in Seoul by July.
