These are some alleys where some of the women I interview have to navigate during some very dark times periods. Bandos, of course are unoccupied homes, and it's illegal to enter one. Often plywood has been placed on the windows and there's generally a reinforced door on the front. In attempt to not draw attention to entering a home the entrance in generally in the back or side of the home. These alleys are full of debris of all kind and are often not illuminated.
