Ruptly is live as Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayiip Erdogan launch the TurkStream natural gas pipeline in Turkey on Wednesday, January 8. TurkStream will become one of the three pipelines connecting Russia with Europe. The majority of the pipeline runs through Turkish territory.
TurkStream has a capacity of 31,5 bcm and will be used for delivering Russian gas to Turkey and on to southern Europe.
