The Non-Canon Expert looks at the events surrounding Anakin Skywalker and Shadow Squadron's Y-wing assault on Grievous's flagship, the Malevolence, during the Malevolence campaign seen within season 1 of the Clone Wars, explaining how Anakin would do anything he needed to to make sure he would act as the Republic Navy's first Y-wing Squadron Leader in the Clone War.
This is a Legends story for Anakin Skywalker and the events of the Clone Wars with information found primarily within the Legends comic "Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Procedure." The Canon information surrounding the BTL-B Y-wing and Malevolence campaign is found within the "Star Wars: Rebel Starfighters: Owners' Workship Manual" and the Malevolence arc from season 1 of the Clone Wars TV series.
