Houston Airport Among 20 in U.S. to Begin Screening China Travelers for Coronavirus George W. Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, Texas, is now one of 20 U.S. airports screening passengers on direct and connecting flights from China, as the coronavirus outbreak spreads worldwide.

The Centers for Disease Control and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services plan to expand coronavirus screening efforts in the United States at 20 airports. Scott Pauley of the CDC said the 20 airports align with the center's existing quarantine stations that cover all 50 states and Puerto Rico.
