2020 NY Boat Show - The Hunt for an Affordable Fishing Boat (Does One Even Exist?)

Each January at the Jacob Javitts Center in Manhattan, boat dealers and manufacturers from throughout the Northeast gather for the NY Boat Show.

I attending this year with my good friend Kosty. At first, we focused on the boats with all the bells and whistles. What we quickly realized though, was just how hard it was to find a new boat that one would deem "affordable."

I know the video is long, but as we search for an affordable fishing boat, we did get up close and personal with some bad as** boats, including a 36 Yellowfin, a 27 Blackfin, a 41 Regulator and a 25 Steiger. In addition, we took a look at some more "affordable" offerings from Striper, Robalo and Tidewater.

We also got a pretty cool demo of the Minn Kota Ulterra, auto stow and deploy trolling motor.
