I’m so excited to be back in LEBANON for the 3rd time! This country is, without question, one of my favorites in the world for so many reasons.
... But things here right now are not how I remembered them in the past.
For the last 48 days, there has been a revolution happening where people of all ages, religions and political parties have been on the streets protesting for a better Lebanon.
I wandered around downtown Beirut to interview random locals and hear their thoughts, because their voices want to be heard. Loud and clear.
If there's one takeaway I have from today, it's that the vast majority of people in this country are coming together as one. I've never seen or experienced anything like it. It's beautiful to witness.
