2 actually!
Both confused to whom I am sending my cabeceo.
I decide to walk over to see who will stand up.
It seems to be her first milonga ever but her connection makes up for everything.
3 ladies from Palermo and another Italian lady join in.
Twice being indicated to leave my "occupied" seat is easily solved by sharing half of my seat.
Eventually also local dancers seem to stretch their partner-list.
The second milonga is more classy and the same clan of advanced locals appear.
And again all the people I dance with are from out of town.
The 2 Russian ladies are also there so now I get a chance to meet the other one.
Although she moves in all kinds of directions, her connection is firm and step by step we get closer to melting together while she's giving me her KGB look.
The dance gets more playful all the time and sometimes she even offers me a smile.
People around us also smile when they see us playing around.
When I think to have finally invited a local Spanish tanguera, she appears to be from Granada.
The 3 ladies from Palermo are there again and an old friend from Zaragoza turns up.
I also dance with women from Wroclaw Poland, Cordoba Argentina and finally one from Valencia.
The third milonga starts early. People are gathering but nobody wants to be the first to start dancing it seems, except for the DJ and me.
People start leaving early because they don't get invited by the advanced dancers and the advanced dancers leave early to visit the next milonga out of town.
Me too, getting a ride from my favourite Russian lady.
An old grumpy Argentinian is collecting the entrance fee at the entrance of a large dance floor.
After dancing with almost only dancers from Valencia this time, I'm being asked to be so kind to wear a shirt with sleeves so I tell them that I don't have one because I believe it's too warm.
The old Argentinian seems to be behind it.
Just when they ask me to be so kind to remember next time, the Argentinian approaches saying one doesn't dance like that in Spain.
I tell him that I respect him demanding to where certain outfit in his place but that I never had any similar problems dancing anywhere in Spain.
When he continues criticizing me, I tell him I will leave and I walk to my table to get my bag.
Then something strange happens.
Some people that seemed to be avoiding me before, come to apologize for the old Argentinian, asking me to please stay.
One of them explains to be one of the organizers, not the Argentinian.
I almost started having doubts about dressing up according to the expectations of others rather than the temperature.
At the airport I am interviewed to see how much money I spent in total.
So next year probably no cheap flights any more.
Actually the interviewer wrote down my website in order to stop depending on money herself.
