Star*Net Adjustment Of Static GPS Vectors and Total Station Data

Star*Net Adjustment Of Static GPS Vectors and Total Station Data In this video, Landon visits the topic of adjusting GPS data and total station data exported from Trimble Business Center (TBC) in Star*Net once again. This time Landon shows you how to adjust a mix of static GPS vectors (instead of RTN vectors) and total station vectors. He also shows you how to trigger the application of the Star*Net GPS error settings by deleting lines from the GPS file created when the GPS vectors are imported into Star*Net from the Trimble Data Exchange File Format. Landon points out a sloppy mistake he made when he first attempted to export his GPS vectors for Star*net and shows you how good housekeeping in TBC can help avoid this problem. He also explains why applying the PPM error adjustment is important in networks with very long and very short GPS vectors mixed together, but points out why his mistake illustrates the danger in having a PPM error adjustment setting that is too high.
