last Sunday was the Boarder Counties HORNBY Club Christmas Meeting in the Village Hall of Houghton near Carlisle. we tend to meet there every other month the other month is Haydon Bridge if any one is interested in the old and not so old O gauge Electric and Clockwork Trains we played with in our younger days, then come and visit we always have coffee & tea and cakes most times, well this is a small video of how we win prizes,we are given a raffle ticket when we arrive and after the normal mince pies Christmas Cake etc we all go over the main layout and put our tickets under the track, if the loco stops next to your ticket then your off to the prize table there's always some thing nice to pick from,
the voice you hear is Alan from Sheffield he's been my friend since 1968, as luck would have it he was visiting Christine and my self for a long weekend.
