Rusty Gold Pickers! And lots of them.

Why does the gold her look like this? I have no idea. But yes this is gold, just with a rusty outer layer. Gold does not always look like it should. We sent a day on the new claim with the Gold Stream Placer Supplies High Banker. And we found a lot of gold, and lots of it was stained this dark rusty color. Something in the area has deposited with this gold staining much of it dark. That or there is a source of this gold close by that has gold very high in iron content. Either way we found a lot of gold that does not really look like gold.
