Financial cost of nationwide NRC in India : Amit Shah vs Reality

All costs of National Register of Citizens (NRC) are being discussed but one important aspect which is the financial cost has been left out of the conversation.
This one citizen at a protest rally explains the financial burden we as Indian citizens will have to bear for a nationwide NRC for no real reason. Can we afford another demonetisation like disaster which instead of solving a problem creates new ones, especially for the economically weaker sections of the society.
