Fault Analysis in Power Systems, Part 4d

Fault Analysis in Power Systems, Part 4d In this video we reflect the fault current and voltages values of the LV side over to the HV side of the transformer for a Line to Line Fault.

In summary we will be following these steps:

STEP 1: Reflect the per unit current sequence components by angle and magnitude adjustment.

STEP 2: Convert current sequence components to phase values.

STEP 3: Reflect Voltage sequence components by recalculations involving reflected HV side current.

STEP 4: Convert reflected voltage values to phase values.

In the next part of this series, part 4e we will calculate the reflected current and voltage values for a Double Line to Ground Fault.
