Boris Johnson says London Bridge attacker 'not suitable candidate for early release' Boris Johnson says London Bridge terrorist Usman Khan was "not really a suitable candidate for early release."

The Prime Minister said he felt a "huge amount of sympathy" for the families of the victims - former University of Cambridge students Saskia Jones, 23, and Jack Merritt, 25.

The PM says the job of government is "to keep the public safe" and too many people are released automatically.
