Why You Should NOT Link Your Facebook | Instagram Ads To Your Website

Why You Should NOT Link Your Facebook | Instagram Ads To Your Website In this video, I explain why you should NOT link your ads to your website.

A gym ad recently popped up in my Insta feed. They offered a free trial. I tapped the “Get Offer” button and was taken to their website.

❌ The webpage had a form to submit contact info, a video, a menu and a bunch of other clickables. Way too many distractions. Instead of filling out the form, people might watch the video, click around and dive deeper and deeper into your site. If the video’s a YouTube imbed, they might even hit that “Watch on YouTube” button and wander off your site and into a cat video.

✅ Keep your lead forms and landing pages distraction free and you will increase your conversion rate. A field for name, contact info and a submit button. That’s all you need!

👉 The Bottom Line: Minimize distractions on your lead forms and landing pages and you’ll increase your return on ad spend.
