These two things are poles apart to each other. Yet their root are connected DEEPLY. Management theories and models have always inspired me to dig into it's understanding deeper every time I read them.

Be it the theory of needs, 6 thinking hats, MBTI, big 5, theory X and Y, or some of the models like BCG matrix, five force model, Product life cycle, Three stages procress of change or PESTEL analysis and many other theories have brought disruption in the world of management in some or the other way.

One of the interesting thing is, be it the field of finance, marketing, information technology or human resources, their roots are connected to one thing and that's

PSYCHOLOGY.

Both management and psychology may seem poles apart to each other, yet they walk hand in hand. Be it cognitive behavior, complex process of subconscious or impact of the different personality traits, every bit of it has played a vital role in the area of management.

Starting with the employees. all employees are working at diverse levels of the pyramid. All of them are different and have diverse motivations and desires. Besides being strategic thinkers, the top level managers ought to have the capability to forecast or at least recognize how people would react to the decisions taken by them. Understanding psychology benefits managers in leading the squad to great success.

Another key aspect is consumer. It is essential to understand customer's needs, wants and desires.Companies also use consumer psychology to predict what kinds of products customers would want in the future.

The assessment of costs and thinking of ways to reduce them, thinking of supplementing labour with machines, analyzing the market situations and understanding the behaviour of investors and competitors, all involve psychology as a phenomenon.

In the Human Resources department, psychology is used to Fine-tune the hiring processes. Appropriate measures are taken to curb attrition, increase employee retention, increase employee productivity and loyalty using psychology as a factor.

The most important department of business related to psychology is the marketing department, which tends not only to understand the needs of consumers but also the market situations and then producing best products to give value to customers is wholly psychology’s game.

But there's one BIG PROBLEM.

If these concepts aren't expalained in the way it should be, it might make them sound dull and boring and may not be able to create the impact which it should.

This obstacle has given us the opportunity to come up with this channel.

Here we are going to make an attempt of explaining these theories and models in the most interesting and creative possible way to you, so that you not only enjoy our videos but also understand the complex theories in the most simplified way and apart from management theories, we will also make videos purely based on psychology.

I hope your question was answered satisfactorly the why this channel?
