Halo 3 Trick|Glitch - Getting to Truth

Hey everyone! So some of you all may remember a few years ago now (it's been that long?) when we were able to get into the Truth Cutscene Rooms on Crows Nest with a DC clip from the area outside the hanger.

At that point, we only knew how to successfully DC clip horizontally, and we didn’t know yet how to DC clip vertically downwards and upwards. Later in the mission, after the jetpack brute area and heading back towards the Ops Center, The Prophet of Truth himself actually spawns in the Truth cutscene room when he appears on the big screen when you are arming the bomb. At this point however, the area outside the hanger area is deloaded, and we could not find a spot to horizontally DC clip into the Truth cutscene rooms while The Prophet is loaded.

After time, we figured out how to animation trick, which was a big deal, and Harc figured out a very unique and specific spot in the drone cave area where it would be possible to vertically DC clip downwards inside the Truth Cutscene Rooms. What this means is that we do NOT need the area outside the Hanger to be loaded to be able to successfully clip into the Truth Cutscene Rooms anymore. Thus, it is possible to enter these rooms later in the mission, when Truth actually shows up in the room. So, using the newly acquired knowledge of the animation trick, and the vertical DC clip, we were able to get into the truth cutscene room before truth spawns in, and see him there! However, for some odd reason that we do not know about, Truth immediately disappears when he spawns in the room while you are in it. We noticed that when you are NOT in his line of sight, he takes longer to deload. So we had an idea. What if we had an active camo? Our line of thinking was that he wouldn’t be able to see us, and thus, wouldn't disappear. We lucked out that the ONLY area the active camo spawn in, was loaded at the very beginning, because it was ALSO the beginning cutscene room. Thus, it was possible for us to revert-grab it to the beginning (Since the area we were trying to revert-grab the equipment from was loaded on checkpoint) So, we did the same exact thing, just including the extra step of revert-grabbing the active camo equipment this time, and we were able to see Truth in the room a whole lot longer!

This is a big deal in our opinion because we were never able to see the Truth biped alive at any other time in Halo 3!! The only other time we see him is his dead corpse after his death cutscene on “The Covenant”.
