➡️➡️Learn more about GameSoundCon here: We're currently at GameSoundCon 2019 in the Millennium Biltmore Hotel,
Los Angeles. - which is a beautiful venue! We had the pleasure of talking to and getting a tour from the founder of the convention himself Mr. Brian Schmidt.
Brian has been doing game music and sound for a total of 32 years! When he started you had to be a programmer as well as a composer in order to work on games.
Over the last fifteen years, as technology changes more and more people are coming from different industries to work on games. Industries like film, television, and more linear mediums of music generation like traditional sound design.
Brian started GameSoundCon ten years ago for the people who know traditional audio, and are interested in the game industry. – We explored all kinds of new softwares, and some are really impressive!
It was a lot of fun filming this episode I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
