Best Tech For Production Company | Our Equipment

Best Tech For Production Company | Our Equipment As you know, we are a startup production company. Investing in a proper, quality equipment, that’s going to be versatile and suitable to perform various tasks while showing perfect results, is crucial for us.
In this video, we will tell you what kind of equipment we use and why.
We bought two cameras for our production. The first one is the Sony A7R 3, and the second one is the Sony A7 III. Both of them are full-frame.
Sony a7R III: Some Specs
42 megapixels
BIONZ image processor
4k video resolution
Log mode
Built-in Wi-Fi
Dual SD Slots
Sony a7R III allows us to perform silent shooting at up to 10fps with AF/AE tracking. We find it perfect for those types of photo/video shooting where even the slightest noise can ruin everything.
This camera has significantly better operation during continuous shots, and it’s set to minimise colour inconsistency and exposure when detecting flickering lights.
Sony a7 III Specs.
24MP full-frame BSI CMOS sensor
4K/24p video resolution 30 fps
10 fps continuous shooting
Dual SD memory card slots
UHS-II support
It’s one of the best-suited cameras for us and our needs. Our experience using this camera in different settings is very smooth, making the whole production process more comfortable.
Our lenses are as important to us as our cameras
The first one is the Sony 16 -35-millimeter lens. It has perfect exposure allowing us to shoot excellent videos. The only downside is, we can’t really use it at night, or at a very dimmed lighting.
The second lens is our Gmaster F1.4 24 cinematic lens. It’s perfect for us during nighttime shooting, it has superb clarity, manual and autofocus, and we love this one very much, it’s ideal for both indoor and outdoor shooting.

Another one of our favourites is G-master F1.4 85 zoom lens, perfect for night time shooting, and it has gorgeous and elegant bokeh.
For our primary outdoor shooting and interviews, we use the Sigma 16 millimetre lens. It’s also fixed and perfect for both outdoor and indoor shooting, and nighttime shooting as well.
For some action shooting, we use Gopro hero 7, which is one of the best action cameras on the market. Its only rival is Go Pro hero 8.
Go Pro hero 7: Some Specs:
Waterproof build
Portrait shooting orientation
Hyper smooth stabilisation
Ultra HD 4K video quality at up to 60fps.
Vivid and detailed 12MP still images
Burst photo mode at up to 30 fps
Go Pro Hero 7 is the perfect action camera for us because of its specs and price. Our experience with Hero 7 is excellent, we get the best quality photo and video images using this camera.
Recently we are using the DJI Ronin SC stabiliser.
Specs:
Gimbal Dimensions:
Folded: 220×200×75 mm
Unfolded: 370×165×150 mm
Weight: 1.1kg
Max Battery Life: 11hours.
Bluetooth 5.0; USB-C
Tested Payload ≤ 2.0 kg
Ronin SC is constructed with high-strength composite materials. It has a modular design, allowing us to pack it and go smoothly. One of the best features of this stabiliser is the 360-degree infinite roll that brings our whole shooting process to another level.
The other stabiliser that we use is the Zhiyun Crane 2.
Specs:
360-degree rotation along three axes
4-way joystick
Mode switch button
IOS and ANDROID support
12 hour run time
Payload up to 1800 g
Long lens support
Our experience with Zhiyun Crane 2 is outstanding. We use it for continuous long hour video shooting, so it’s 12 hours run time is perfect for us.
The last but not least is our drone DJI Mavic Pro 2. It’s one of the best drones on the worldwide market up to date. Its main rival is DJI Phantom, but Mavic 2 weighs less and is more manoeuvre and swift than DJI Phantom. It is very comfortable to control in the air.
Specs:
Max flight time: 31 mins
20 mp camera
4K video resolution with up to 30 fps
Adobe DNG Raw support
High-Speed motion stabilisation
Max speed 44 mph
Weigh up to 900 grams
Our experience with Mavic pro 2 is pretty smooth. Previously we had 125-mile flight experience with Mavic 1, and now we can definitely say that Mavic 2 has improved a lot. This drone allows us to do our job a lot quicker and easier.
