First of all, Botox is something that is used to paralyze the muscles. So the paralysis is not a side effect.
But when Botox is injected with the wrong amount in the wrong place, unintented muscles can get paralyzed and unintended symptoms can occur.
For example, the most common case is when you get Botox on your forehead and your eyebrows drop.
Or when you get Botox for wrinkles between your eyes but your wrinkles are still forming, in which case the Botox has not worked properly.
Botox has been in use for almost 30 years now.
But there has been almost no reports of complications caused by regular use
and becoming resistant to Botox, which some worry about, is also extremely rare in practice.
The most important thing is how Botox is handled and is used accurately.
(On Youtube, there are people who claim that after getting Botox regularly and stopped,
they are worse than before, can this really happen?)
As i've said before, Botox is very safe and this is because Botox does not remain in your body.
There has not been any report claiming it's dangerous because toxin can build up in the body over multiple use.
But if you get keep getting Botox on a specific area,
compared to not getting Botox at all, it feeling a little weird is possible and you could say that it's natural to feel so.
The reason it can look bad after the effects wear off is because once you have gone from having wrinkles to not having wrinkles
and you go back to having wrinkles, in feels like it's gone much worse.
If you stop getting Botox, does your condition regress?
I would say it goes back to what it originally was, not worse.
Rather, if you get it regularly there are clear benefits because,
I've done Botox on my family members for 10 years, and it's like time has stopped for them.
For unwanted wrinkles, I say Botox has anti-aging effects.
What I mean is, the wrinkles we don't want are one that look aesthetically bad.
For example, forehead wrinkles from when you frown, or wrinkles around your eyes and mouth from aging.
And Botox is in a way preventing those wrinkles from forming
And I would say that the body adjusts to this state.
If you look at my family members, they look older than their age,
but after they started getting Botox, it's like time has stopped for them.
