( Some news has appeared in today’s Malayalam newspaper “Mathrubhoomi” of Kerala stating that Shri Ranjan Gogoi, present CJI, before his retirement on 17th Nov. may pronounce judgments in various cases under consideration of the bench headed by him.
The EPF Pension case was adjourned on 10th July saying that the judgment would be pronounced after a week. SC had dismissed an appeal filed by EPFO challenging the verdict declared by KHC proclaiming eligibility of higher pension on actual salary. But a verdict in a Review Petition filed by EPFO is yet to be announced. )
